This group is sending a thousand pairs of socks into North Korea by balloon, where apparently a pair of socks is worth a month’s supply of corn.

Typical of the white man to send in “supplies” with no regard to the delicate balance of local environments. This is only going to lead to a severe inflation of the value of socks, and then what will the poor peasants who have been building careful emergency supplies of socks do? Now their life’s worth of socks-savings is worth a bag of popcorn, and these ‘human rights workers’ will be to blame. We don’t want your ‘aid’, white man.

But in all seriousness, whoever picks up those boxes will be sent to a labour camp. It’s a grim situation all around.
